The Pony Express AC Vector cart is the top end of the EK Tech motorized platform cart range, built for plants that need to walk die sets, coils, fixtures, and machine bases weighing up to 30,000 lb across the floor without a forklift. Where the smaller Pony Express carts use DC drives, this line runs a 1.7 kW 48 VDC bus with 3 phase AC Vector Power drive, so full torque is available across the whole speed band and the operator can creep a fifteen ton load at 0.1 mph with real precision.
Steering is fully electronic. The steer by wire system swings the drive wheel 90 degrees left or right, which lets the cart turn around in roughly its own length and removes the hydraulic steering components that usually need maintenance on machines this size. Braking is regenerative, so the AC ReGen system pushes kinetic energy back into the battery pack every time the cart slows down and stretches the interval between charges.
Power comes from cradled battery packs in either AGM or lithium iron phosphate chemistry, sized from 100 to 360 Ah. The cradle design means a depleted pack can be lifted out and a fresh one dropped in, which keeps the cart working through multi shift operations instead of sitting on a charger. An onboard monitor shows state of charge, consumed amp hours, and pack voltage, and a Bluetooth app mirrors it all on a smartphone.
The standard usable deck is 36 by 62 inches on a welded steel chassis that EK Tech validates with finite element analysis, and custom deck sizes and tops are available for odd shaped loads. Every AC Vector cart is configured to order, so pricing is by quote.

The most useful companion for this cart is the external charging station, which lets a spare battery pack charge while the cart keeps working on its installed pack. Spare cradled AGM or lithium packs are available for true hot swap rotation, and custom deck tops can be fitted for specific tooling or product shapes. Daily use is walk behind and simple. The operator drives from a tiller style handle with two speed ranges, a low band of 0.1 to 1.5 mph for precise positioning and a high band up to 3 mph for longer runs. Steer by wire keeps steering effort near zero even with a full load, which protects operators from the strain injuries common with manual die carts.
Charging happens through the internally mounted charger from a 120 or 240 VAC single phase outlet. Facilities running multiple shifts usually add the external charging station and a second battery pack, then rotate packs through the cradle so the cart never waits on a charger. The regenerative braking system feeds energy back into the pack during every stop, and the onboard monitor plus the Bluetooth app make pack health easy to track.
This is a facility machine, not a folding transport product. It rolls on its own wheels between buildings on hard surfaces, stores indoors, and needs no fuel, hydraulic fluid, or scheduled steering maintenance.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
